Bonini, Otello

Poughkeepsie, NY – Otello (Tony) Bonini, 88 years old, of Poughkeepsie, died peacefully on July 30, 2008 at Ferncliff Nursing Home in Rhinebeck.

Born January 2, 1920 in Rome, Italy, he arrived at Ellis Island in New York in 1946 where he married the late Ida Gambini. She predeceased him in March, 1980.

Tony was a devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

He is survived by his sons, Richard, Bonini and his wife Phyllis of Florida; Julius Bonini and his wife Nancy of New Jersey; his eight grandchildren, Christy Bonini, Jason Bonini, Elisa Bonini, Tiffany Bonini, Adam Bonini, and was predeceased by his grandson, Richard Bonini Jr.all of Poughkeepsie; and Stephan and Michelle of New Jersey and six great-grandchildren Nate, Arianna, Dominick and Mercedes, all of Poughkeepsie, and Alexandria and Dominick of New Jersey.

A memorial service will be held in honor of Otello's life at a later date , at the convenience of the family.
