Denver, CO- Ian Manuel Daugherty, 24, passed away Monday, March 24, 2008, at his home in Denver, CO.

Ian graduated from Denver University with a degree in Behavioral Sciences.

Ian was well known in the Denver as “MC Ian D”; and was very popular in the music industry and Clubs throughout Denver.

He was born April 14, 1983 in Houston, TX, to the late John Roy Daugherty, Jr. and the late Audrey Sanchez Daugherty Fisher.

Ian is survived by his maternal grandmother, Margaret ‘Peggy’ (Myron) Sanchez of Rhinebeck; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Roy Daugherty, Sr. of Hocklee, TX; a brother, Evan Roy Daugherty of Denver; a sister, Faith Elaine Fisher of Frazer, CO; a brother, Nolan James Fisher of Frazer, CO; aunt and uncle Andrea and Gregg Benedikt of Tuckahoe, NY; uncle and aunt Matthew and Kathleen Sanchez of Norwalk, CT; uncle and aunt Andrew and Lori Chikotas of Ratigo, TX; two paternal aunts; step-father, Ron Fisher of Frazer, TX; surrogate father, Howard Cole of Denver, CO; and many cousins, great aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his paternal grandfather Manuel Sanchez.

A memorial service will be celebrated Saturday, April 19th, 11 AM, at the Church of the Messiah, Montgomery St., Rhinebeck. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Rhinecliff.
