Flanagan, Timothy Damian

Rhinebeck – Timothy Damian Flanagan, 41, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2008, at his home in Rhinebeck. 

Tim was raised in Clinton Corners and had lived in Cary, NC, before returning to Rhinebeck 9 years ago.  He was a valuable member of the A.L. Stickle’s family business as well as a member of the Segway Concession Apple Crisp team

Tim served as a Sergeant in the US Army 10th Mountain Division. 

He was a graduate of Rhinebeck High School where he played on the Varsity Soccer Team.  His passion for soccer continued throughout his life as a player, coach, and fan.

He recently became a member of the Rhinebeck Masonic Lodge #432 F. & A. M.

Born February 11, 1967 in Raleigh, NC, he was the son of Michael Flanagan and the late Bernadette ‘Mousie’ (Smith) Flanagan.

Tim is survived by Michelle (Dieckman) Flanagan; a son Timothy, of Rhinebeck and Clarkson University; two sisters Ann Marie Antonell and Bernadette Flanagan; three brothers Patrick, Michael and Christopher Flanagan; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; as well as many close friends throughout the community.

Calling hours are Thursday, September 4th, 5 to 8 PM, at the Dapson-Chestney Funeral Home, 51 W. Market St., Rhinebeck.  A time of sharing will begin at 8 PM.  Private memorial services will be held at the convenience of the family.
