Fulton, Margaret Mulligan
Rhinebeck
– Margaret Mulligan Fulton, 89, passed away Sunday, April 20,
2008, at the Baptist Home, Rhinebeck.
Mrs. Fulton was
a former Millbrook resident and taught Kindergarten in the Millbrook
Central Schools until her retirement in 1974. Following her retirement
she established and taught the kindergarten program at St. Joseph’s
School Millbrook. She was a 1936 graduate of Lesley College, Boston;
she returned to Lesley and received an advanced degree in 1969.
She was a member
of St. Joseph’s Church, Millbrook, and Good Shepherd Church, Rhinebeck.
Born January 18,
1919 in Newport, RI, she was the daughter of James and Margaret (Kane)
Mulligan.
Her husband, Robert
Hudson Fulton, whom she married September 4, 1941 in Middletown, RI,
passed away July 14, 1983.
Mrs. Fulton is survived
by two daughters, Carol Fulton Folau of Staatsburg, and Roberta Fulton
Halloran of Winthrop, MA; three grandchildren, Vika Shock, Kakala Folau,
Jr., and Leslie Florio; two great grandchildren Maximilian Shock and
Piper Florio; a niece Eileen DuBruil, and three nephews, Daniel Connerton,
Joseph DuBruil and James DuBruil.
She was also predeceased
by two sisters Christina Connerton and Winifred DuBruil.
A Funeral Mass will
be celebrated Friday, May 2nd, 11 AM, at the Good Shepherd Church, Msgr.
Joy Plaza, Rhinebeck. Interment will be at St. Columba’s Cemetery,
Middletown, RI, at the convenience of the family.
