Lattin, Marion V.

Rhinebeck - Marion V. Lattin, 85, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2008, at Northern Dutchess Hospital.

Born March 27, 1923 in Rhinebeck, she was the daughter of Alexander and Minnie (DuBois) Funk. She attended Rhinebeck Central Schools and lived all her life in Rhinebeck.

From 1980 to 1985 she worked as a Cafeteria Aid for Rhinebeck Central Schools. She was an avid bowler and a member of the 9G Bowling Association since 1950.

On December 7, 1941 in Rhinebeck she married Gordon Lattin. Mr. Lattin passed away December 30, 1985.

Mrs. Lattin is survived by two daughters Donna Merrihew of Rhinebeck and Linda Coon of Chatham; a son Gordon Lattin of Rhinebeck; ten grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a daughter Sandra Larsen; three sisters, Doris Wager, Mina Day, and Dorothy VanEtten; and two brothers Franklin Scism and Harry Scism.

Calling hours are Tuesday,4 to 7 PM, at the Dapson-Chestney Funeral Home, 51 W. Market St., Rhinebeck. Funeral services will begin at 7 PM. Interment will be in the Rhinebeck Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

Memorial donations may be made to the Rhinebeck Rescue Squad, 78 E. Market St., Rhinebeck.
