Paul S. Vonderheide

Kingston - Paul S. Vonderheide, 75, of Dutch Village, Kingston, died on July 18, 2017 at Kingston Hospital.

Born in Staten Island on December 27, 1941, he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Vonderheide Sr. He graduated from Dorp High School in 1960 and attended night classes at Dutchess Community College during the 1970’s.

Paul drove a school bus for the Hyde Park school district for 36 years and retired in June of 2004. In his last 7 years of working he also served as the Driver Trainer for the district.

He is currently a member of the Hurley Reformed Church in Hurly, NY.

Mr. Vonderheide is survived by 4 brothers and sisters, Rev. Edwin Vonderheide, Howard, Roland, and Faith Henry. He was predeceased by a brother Charles and sisters Audrey Odell and Gertrude Mason.

Friends may call at the Dapson-Chestney Funeral Home, on July 31, 2017 from 1 to 3 PM.

Funeral services will be conducted by the Dapson-Chestney Funeral Home, 51 W. Market St., on July 31 at 3PM. Burial will follow at the Rhinebeck Cemetery.
