Porcelli, Edith

TIVOLI - Edith Porcelli, formerly of Rhinebeck, NY and Stamford, CT died August 22, 2010 at the age of 95. She was born on May 22, 1915 to John DeAngelis and Jennie Robusto.

She is survived by son Edward Porcelli (Candace) of Clearwater, FL and daughter Virginia Mure (Charles Wittig) of Tivoli, NY. Four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by husband Ned, brothers, John, Ozzie, Oscar and Augie DeAngelis, and sister Louise Palumbo.

Edith retired from the Southern New England Telephone Co. in Stamford, CT. where she was a telephone operator. Arrangements are under the direction of the Dapson-Chestney Funeral Home, 51 W. Market St., Rhinebeck.
