Milan – Marie G. Schroder, 81, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2010, at the Baptist Home, Rhinebeck.

Mrs. Schroder was a longtime resident of Milan and served as Milan Deputy Town Clerk.

Prior to her marriage she had worked in the records department at Vassar Hospital. She was a communicant of St. Anthony’s Church, Pine Plains and Good Shepherd Church, Rhinebeck.

Born April 21, 1928 in Milan, she was the daughter of Harold and Emma (Hart) Campbell.

On April 13, 1952 at St. Mary’s Church, Poughkeepsie, she married Robert C. Schroder. Mr. Schroder survives at home in Milan

Mrs. Schroder is survived by two sons James, and his wife Linda, of Staatsburg, and Marc, and his wife LeAnn, of Cairo; a daughter Christine Hiles of Melbourne, Fl; two grandchildren, Kolby Schroder and Nicole Hiles; a brother George Campbell; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are Monday, 4 to 7 PM, at the Dapson-Chestney Funeral Home, 51 W. Market St., Rhinebeck. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, 10:30 AM, at the Good Shepherd Church, 93 East Market St., Rhinebeck.
