Styles, Vera

Rhinbeck - Vera Styles, 94, of Rhinebeck, N.Y., died Monday, February 25, 2008 at Northern Dutchess Hospital.

She was born June 28, 1913 in Pleasant Valley, N.Y.. She was the daughter of Edwin Forman and Lavinia Duncan Forman.

She was educated at Pleasant Valley and Poughkeepsie schools. On April 1, 1934, at Netherwood Baptist Church in Salt Point, she married Alton J. Styles who predeceased her.

She is survived by a daughter, Julia Horchler of Vero Beach, FL, two grandchildren, Laura Wetzel and Christopher Liggett, two great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by a sister, Marion Forman Goepper and a brother Walter Forman.

A memorial service will be celebrated Wednesday, April 30th, 10 AM, t Dapson-Chestney Funeral Home in Rhinebeck, N.Y. with burial at the Crum Elbow Cemetery , Hyde Park, to follow
