VanKeuren, Helen Zitz

Rhinebeck - Helen Zitz VanKeuren, 98, passed away Friday, April, 9th, at her
home in Rhinebeck.

Mrs. VanKeuren was a graduate of Red Hook Central School class of 1930 and
the Krissler Business Institute, Poughkeepsie. She worked at a car
dealership before taking a job at the First National Bank of Rhinebeck. She
retired after many years as Vice President.

She was a communicant of the Good Shepherd Church, Rhinebeck.

Born December 14, 1911 in Milan; she was the daughter of George and Frances
(Mikolic) Zitz, Sr.

On December 4, 1949 in Barrytown she married Royce "Buss" VanKeuren. Mr.
VanKeuren passed away June 27, 2000.

She was predeceased by her sister Dorothy Zitz Duggins; and brothers John
Zitz and George Zitz, Jr.

Mrs. VanKeuren is survived by her nieces and nephews Greg and Toni Zitz (who
have cared and assisted Helen in her later years) and their children Walter
and Anna; Robert and Marcy Zitz and their children Michele, Robert and
Benjamin; Melinda Martin and her children Patrick and Paul; David and Cindy
Zitz and their children Lindsay, Kaitlyn and Lauren; Wayne Zitz; and Bonnie
Rodriguez and her children David, Michael, Kevin(deceased), Karen and their
children.

The family would like to thank Helen's close friend Marie Wager; as well as
her caregivers, Sue Leone, Kim Snyder, Annette Briggs, Gloria Arata, Regina
Castelli, Dawn VanEtten and April Mansfield.

Calling hours are Friday, April 16th, 5 to 8 PM, at the Dapson-Chestney
Funeral Home, 51 W. Market St., Rhinebeck.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, April 17th, 10 AM,
at the Good Shepherd Church, Rhinebeck. Interment will be in the Rhinebeck
Cemetery
