Our sympathies to your family. I loved the floral arrangements over the years. I was in Jen's class at RCS. I'm sorry I won't be able to attend the visitation, I'll be there in thought.

Saddened to hear of Jim's passing. I so well remember working with him and Pete Troy on the "haunted house" in Rhinebeck. Jim did an amazing job making beautiful floral baskets and headpieces for my bridesmaids and a stunning arrangement of silk flowers for my wedding cake (no stuffy bride and groom for me). Jim was always so warm and gentle, and genuinely interested in what I was doing. My condolences to Bev and your children and grandchildren.

To the Van Vhooris family my deepest sympathies in the passing of Uncle Jimmy. My prayers are with you all. I lived the next lane over from Bobby and Ann. Julie was and is my oldest and dearest friend. I remember Uncle Jimmy and Aunt Beverly and their visits to Todd's Lane and playing with all of the Van Vhooris kids. We had such good times. God Bless you all and may he hold you in his arms at this most heartbreaking time. Sincerely, Jacqueline and Eric Dunn

Dear Bev and family, Please accept my heartfelt condolences on your loss. Jim will always be remembered by me for his bright smile and huge generosity and kindness. I think of both of you whenever I look at my wedding album and all of the beautiful flower arrangements and bouquets that you created for our special day. You both have always been so kind to my family and our Mom. I am sure that my siblings will always have happy memories just like myself. I believe Mom met Jim with open arms in heaven! With love from Cindy Heuckeroth and Andrea, Michael, Paula & Keith Choinsky

Beverly & Family, I share your sadness at this time of your loss. Friendships made so many years ago in Rhinebeck are never forgotten. I hope that all your fond memories help ease the pain.

The memories we have with the Van Voorhis family are so wonderful! We are so grateful to have enjoyed the company of Jim, Bev, Jennifer, Billy and many members of their extended family at our Christmas Eve table for many years. It is difficult to express the impact a person/s has on your life, but we truly "came of age" under Jim and Bev's guidance, as they knew us before we were married (29 years ago). We will always remember the wonderful twinkle in Jim's eye and his hearty laugh and the hospitality extended to everyone by this family. We will miss you dear friend, but our memories will carry us through.
