Dean Hunter Obituary

Dean C. Hunter, formerly of Rhinebeck, NY, passed into eternal life at his home in The Villages, FL on March 1, 2018. Born in Caldwell, NJ on December 29, 1936, Dean graduated from Lehigh University and worked for IBM for 38 years.
Dean had many passions, softball, his farm & tractor, but mostly he loved to be standing in a stream fly fishing. He introduced his daughters and his grandchildren to the sport and many wonderful memories were made in the process. 
Dean leaves behind his wife of almost 60 years, Phyllis, his daughters Debby (Andy) Aschmann, Leslie (Scott) Larsen, predeceased Dean. Grandsons: Chad (Sarah) Eyler, Chris Eyler, Hunter Larsen, step-grandchildren; Adam (Leah) Aschmann, Jessica (Ed) Gonzalez), Justin (Amanda) Larsen, Cameron Larsen, many great grandchildren and Dean’s brother, John (Dorothy) Hunter, nieces. A memorial service for Dean will be held on Tuesday, March 27 at 11:00 am at the North Lake Presbyterian Church in Lady Lake, FL. A light lunch will follow. Donations made in Dean’s memory may be made to: University of Florida Foundation, PO Box 100243, Gainesville, FL 32610.
