Jared Wilson Adams

Jared Wilson Adams died unexpectedly on December 3, 2018 in Brooklyn, NY.

Jared is survived by his loving wife, Kaitlin Doria, who resides in Glendale, NY. He is also survived by his parents, Daniel and Dawn Adams of Pittsford, NY, his four devoted sisters, Bridget Adams, Gretchen Adams, Grace Adams, and Clare Adams, his mother-in-law Judy Doria of Baldwin, NY, his father-in-law Anthony Doria of Glendale, NY, and his brother-in-law Kevin Doria. Jared is survived as well by a multitude of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Jared was raised in Rhinebeck, NY where he attended Rhinebeck Central Schools. He was an active member of the Church of the Good Shepherd where he was an altar server and lector. A natural entertainer, Jared performed in plays throughout the schools and parish.

Jared met the love his life, Katie, while they both attended The College of St. Rose. They graduated in 2008 and were married in 2017 in Clifton Park, NY. They shared many happy trips together, especially their time in Arizona. Their years together were full of laughter and fun. Jared worked as a marketing agent for PAMP, an international precious metals company. Jared was a creative person, talented both in music and writing from a young age. As an adult, he often played out in various bands, and recorded his own music and songs. It was a delight to see him onstage.

Jared had a unique ability to connect with people and make them feel special. He uplifted everyone around him and brought joy everywhere he went. He was a deeply devoted husband, a loyal friend, and an amazing older brother to his siblings. He is profoundly loved and will be greatly missed.

 Calling hours will be held on Thursday, December 6, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Dapson Chestney Funeral Home, 51 W Market St, Rhinebeck, NY. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in memory of Jared on Friday, December 7, at 11:00 a.m., at The Church of the Good Shepherd, 3 Mulberry St, Rhinebeck, NY.
