Lisa M. Richardson

Dr. Lisa Richardson departed this earthy life and went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on June 17th 2018 after a courageous battle with inflammatory breast cancer.

She was born and raised in Trinidad, W.I. on September 7th 1968 to Brenda Richardson and Rawle Moolchan and moved to the United States at the age of 15. She spent extensive time in New York, Canada and her beloved Arizona. She attended Wykeham Rise boarding school in Washington, CT and received her Bachelor’s degree from the prestigious, Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, NY. She received her medical degree from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, AZ.

Lisa was a brilliant doctor who went above and beyond for her patients, many of whom became very close friends. For a large majority of her professional career, she worked with the underprivileged in a community clinic. This brought her great joy. She was bold in her faith and shared the Gospel of Jesus Christ wherever she went.  Lisa wanted to be remembered as a person who loved Jesus and loved people. She was blessed with many friends all over the world. She has fought the good fight, she has finished the race, she has kept the faith. Now there is in store for her the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, has awarded her (2 Timothy 4:7-8). Her hope was that all her family and friends will have an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ so that when He returns, they will be ready to face Him.

Lisa is survived by her mother, father, sister (Skeeter), nephew (Justyn), uncle (Glen) and his wife, Susan, the Conyettes of Canada (Charles, Ann, Paul (Audrey), Michael, Giselle (Desire) and Jacqueline (Brent)), cousins (Dawnica, Jayson, Risa (Andrace), Phyllis,  Giselle (Kirk), Maritza (Kevin) and the Conyettes of Trinidad), as well as many other relatives and friends all over the world. She is predeceased by her aunt, Unesta Conyet and grandmother, Agatha Richardson. 

There will be two opportunities to celebrate Lisa’s life on Thursday June 21, 2018. A Celebration of Lisa’s life will take place in Mesa, Arizona at Redemption Church West Mesa at 10:30 am. Additionally, a celebration will take place at 1:30 pm at Grace Bible Fellowship Church at 6959 Route 9, Rhinebeck, New York.

Burial will follow at the Natural Burial Ground on Mill Road in Rhinebeck, NY.
