Mary T. Wilson

Rhinebeck - Mary T. Wilson, 88, a longtime Rhinebeck resident, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2017, at the Thompson House, Rhinebeck.

For many years Mary lived at Wells Manor where she was very active with her neighbors and Welcome Friends. She was also involved with the Northern Dutchess Caregivers; Home Bureau; and as a member of Good Shepherd Church she cleaned the church, cared for the Alter, and made Rosaries for the church.

Mary had worked as a legal secretary for various adoption lawyers in New York

Mary was born January 11, 1928 in New York City; she was the daughter of Daniel J. and Catherine (O'Loughlin) Riordan.

Her husband Oliver P. Wilson passed away in 1978, and her son Thomas P. Wilson passed away in 2014.

She is survived by two granddaughters Samantha and Danielle; several cousins and many friends.

Calling hours are private.

Friends and family are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday 1:30 PM at the Good Shepherd Church, Rhinebeck. Interment will be at the Pinelawn National Cemetery.

Mary requested that Masses at Good Shepherd Church be requested in her memory.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Dapson-Chestney Funeral Home, 51 W. Market St., Rhinebeck.
