Vincent E. Albertson

Rhinebeck – Vincent E. Albertson passed away January 2, 2018 at the Baptist Home.

He was born November 5, 1937 in Poughkeepsie, NY the son of Marie and Edward Albertson.  He lived in Pleasant Valley and Staatsburgh before settling in Rhinebeck with his wife Elizabeth and son Patrick. 

Vincent was employed for 50 years as a sheet metal worker with Local #38, Brewster, retiring to become involved in the antique trade and Dinsmore Golf Course. 

He is survived by his wife Elizabeth; his son Patrick, his wife Maura, and their children Mallory and Michael Lang, and Maria Pellicane; his six siblings: Brenda Borquist; Peter and Jean Albertson; Christina and Charlie Woody; Carl and Irene Albertson; Veronica Baker; and Timothy and Janet Albertson.  Family members also include numerous nieces and nephews.  He is predeceased by his son Scot Albertson. 

Calling hours are Friday, January 5, 4:00 to 7:00 PM, at the Dapson-Chestney Funeral Home, 51 W. Market St., Rhinebeck.  Private interment will be at the arrangement of the family.
