Alvin Slone Obituary

Alvin (Al) Slone, 91, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at the Arbor Ridge senior independent living community – his home for the past seven years.

He is survived by his devoted son Jonathan Slone, his daughter-in-law Elizabeth Kandall, and his cherished grandchildren Isaac Slone and Nathan Slone. He was predeceased by his daughter Karen Slone, and his wife Phyllis Slone.

Al served in the Civil Engineer Corps of the United States Navy from 1955-1957. He led a long and beautiful life, was adored by many, and brought lots of love to his family.

A private graveside was held at the Rhinebeck Cemetery.
