Guilderland, NY – Bernice ‘Bunny’ White Warner, 95, passed away Friday, July 18th, at the Grand Nursing Facility, Guilderland, NY
Bunny was a lifelong Rhinebeck resident before moving to the Albany area. She was born May 7, 1930 in Rhinebeck, the daughter of Henry and Mercedes (Tremper) White.
She graduated from the Rhinebeck Central Schools and the Krissler Business Institute. She had worked for Rhinebeck Central Schools, The Visiting Nurse Service, and the First National Bank of Rhinebeck. She was a founding member and the first president of the NDH Mother’s Club; a member of the Rhinebeck Garden Club; and a member of the Reformed Church of Rhinebeck.
Bunny was predeceased by her husband George Warner, her son Thomas Thompkins, and her sister Barabara West.
She is survived by her son Tremper Tompkins and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be Monday July 28th at 11 am at the Rhinebeck Reformed Church.
