Christian G. Tompkins

Christian G. Tompkins, 46, passed away at Northern Dutchess Hospital on November 15, 2021.                      

Born in Rhinebeck on May 28, 1975, he was the son of Russell D. and Lynn (Lechthaler) Tompkins, Jr.   Mr. and Mrs. Tompkins survive at home.

He was a long-time resident of Ferncliff Nursing Home.  He enjoyed animals of all kinds and could be exuberant at times.

In addition to his parents, Christian is survived by his brother Russell and his wife Lesli; his sister Sarah Lynn and her partner Brock; two nieces Brin and Teagan; his Aunt Mary Lee Flintosh and his uncle Theron Tompkins and several cousins.

Visitation will be held at the Dapson-Chestney Funeral Home, 51 W. Market St., Rhinebeck, on Monday November 22 from 11am to 12:30 PM.

Funeral Services will be celebrated by Fr. Crawford of Good Shepherd at 12:30pm at the funeral home following Visitation.

Burial will follow at the Shultzville Cemetery.

Memorial donations in honor of Christian can be made to Dutchess County SPCA or Hudson Valley Hospice.
