Christine M. Anson

On May 26th, 2026, Christine Anson of Wynantskill, NY, entered eternal rest at Albany Medical Center. She was 58 years old. Born to her parents Raymond and Judith Polotaye neé Lamb (†) in Poughkeepsie, NY, she will be deeply missed.

Christine was the wife of Michael Anson, cherished mother of Krystel Anson, beloved sister of Karen Roush, and loving grandmother to Damion and Julia Conaway. She was predeceased by her daughters Sandee and Rebecka Anson.

An avid crafter, Christine found so much joy in crafting and attending craft pop-ups. Added to that, she had a big heart and stewarded her students as she drove them over the years. There is no question that no matter where they are now, they will remember Christine.

She will be deeply and infinitely missed and will always be loved. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be directed to the following: Plant a Tree, The American Legion, Rhinebeck, NY and the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. 

Visitation will take place on Tuesday 2nd June, 2026, from 10:00am to noon at Dapson-Chestney Funeral Home, Rhinebeck, NY. Burial will follow promptly at St. Peter’s Cemetery, Poughkeepsie, NY.
