Guy D. Hathaway

We say farewell to our husband and father, Guy D. Hathaway,  who departed this world on August 30, 2024 at the age of 88. Surrounded by his loving family in his final hours, he was a man of immense humor, wisdom, integrity and charm. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, their four children, six grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.

Guy served proudly four years in the Navy and soon after began his 30 year career with IBM.

His fearlessness, together with his passions for skiing, golf and the outdoors, led him on many adventures and his surviving family will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives to fullest.

To commemorate his remarkable life and the memories we cherish, a celebration will be held at the Dapson Chestney Funeral Home in Rhinebeck, New York at 2 pm on Wednesday, September 4th, 2024.

Following the service, please join us at Jacek and Claire’s home for a gathering with refreshments.
