Rhinebeck – Holly Peyton Good Feirstein, 64, passed away at her home next to her loving husband on Saturday November 6, 2021.
Born in Mobile, Alabama on August 12, 1957, she was the daughter of Aubrey and Dorothy Good. She worked for many years as a Social Worker in Manhattan.
Holly was a beautiful, kind, compassionate, and generous. She was a loyal friend, a fabulous wife, and a devoted mother, sister and aunt. She enjoyed meeting all types of people, especially those who were intelligent, kind, generous, and reliable.
She loved to read, travel, and learn. Her and her husband, Barry, were able to travel the world to places like England, France, Greece, Croatia, Germany, Columbia, and many more. Their travels were through various group trips with Professors from Harvard, the Smithsonian and the National Trust, allowing them to be enriched with knowledge of all the places they got to see.
Holly loved being a member of her book club in Rhinebeck and met many good friends.
One of Holly’s greatest efforts was helping the Anderson Center for Autism where her sons live. She served on many committees and provided much needed assistance to the teachers, parents, and staff. She will be greatly missed.
Holly is survived by her husband, Barry Feirstein, her sons Brad and Phillip, her family, Dolly, Greg, Cathleen, Peyton, and Tyler, as well as many friends from the area and throughout the world.
She was predeceased by her father, Aubrey.
There are no calling hours.
Services and burial in the Rhinebeck Cemetery were private.
