Jerri Fowx

Germantown – Jerri Fowx, 75, passed away at home on Sunday January 21, 2024 after a brief illness.

Born in Rhinebeck on October 26, 1948, he was the son of the late Charles and Marion (White) Fowx.

Jerri worked as a Production Manager at the Mid-Hudson Workshop in Poughkeepsie, NY.

On May 23, 1970 he married Susan Gaffney at Regina Coeli Catholic Church in Hyde Park. Susan predeceased Jerri in 2019.

Jerri is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Trevor and Jade (Platania) Fowx of Rhinebeck, and granddaughters Beau Elizabeth and Charli Grace Fowx. In addition, he is survived by a brother and sister-in-law Calvin and Nancy of Fort Myers, FL, a half-brother Timothy Fowx as well as his brother-in-law Glenn Countryman of Red Hook, NY.

He was predeceased by his wife Susan, a sister Charlene, and a half-brother Thomas.

There are no calling hours.

An informal graveside service will be held at the Rhinebeck Cemetery for anyone who wishes to attend on Tuesday January 30, 2024 at 11 am.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Legion, Post 429, 6361 Mill St., Rhinebeck, NY 12572.
