Juan José Caso-Fanjul

Juan José Caso-Fanjul, age 76 passed away on August 9, 2023 at home in Hyde Park, NY, surrounded by his loved ones.

Born on February 25, 1947 in Guatemala City, Guatemala, he was the only son of Juan Caso-Gómez and Aurora Fanjul-García.  He is survived by his beloved wife of fifty-four years, Jo Mary Caso (née Artigues), and his two daughters Nicole and Margot Caso.

He was a gentle soul and a lover of history books, cars, bossa nova, and Latin music. He worked in banking, business, publishing, and served as the Ambassador of Guatemala to the United States in the early 1990s.

He is with us in our hearts and thoughts.
