Karen Gilmour Huber

Karen  Gilmour  Huber, age 67, of Rhinebeck, N.Y.  passed away peacefully on September 28, 2024 with her loving siblings by her side. Born in Rhinebeck on February 15, 1957, she was the  beloved daughter of the late Lawrence and Helen Huber. 

   Karen had the sweetest, kindest spirit, a cute sense of humor, and a smile always accompanied by those sparkling eyes that warmed your heart. She had a happy life growing up on the family farm and wonderful memories of her many years of riding Pat DeFile’s  bus to school. Many still fondly remember seeing her on her adult tricycle accompanied by her loving, devoted mother, on her daily rides, peddling up Old Post Rd. 

Left to cherish her precious memory are her sister, Lee Ann ( Robert) Ahlin,  two brothers, Peter  (Jennifer Pacio) Huber, and Russell

(Victoria) Huber , and nephews, Justin and Joshua Huber, and Robert and Matthew Ahlin and Sean Phillips. 

Karen will be reunited with her parents in Rhinebeck Cemetery at a later date.
