In the early morning, Thursday January 2nd, Kathaleen Mary DiGregorio,79, passed away peacefully at Livingston Hills Nursing Home in Clermont.
She is predeceased by her husband Robert Morris DiGregorio, and survived by her daughters Tracy Pool and Tricia DiGregorio, grandaughters Cassandra Trowbridge and Stella Mae Miller, and grandson Eamon Miller, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Kay, as she was known to friends and family, spent a lot of time helping other people, and giving her time, generously. She ran a team opposite her twin sister Karen Rathjen in the Rhinebeck Girls' Softball League, mentoring young women through a sport she loved and played well into adulthood. Kay started a Girl Scout Troop for each of her two daughters, teaching her girls, and many others, skills like cooking and camaraderie and resilience. In her later years she was active in the Women's Home Bureau, again sharing her creativity and enjoying socializing with friends and neighbors. Kay could always be counted on to help out or lend a hand.
Kay was cremated and will be interred on Friday, December 4th, 2020.
