Kathleen Flynn

Rhinebeck – Kathleen Flynn, 72, a lifetime resident of Rhinebeck and Rhinecliff, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2024 at Hudson Valley Hospice with her daughter by her side.

Born in Rhinebeck on June 13, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Dorothy (Batt) Flynn.

After graduating High school, Kathleen received her Bachelors in Nursing and became a fully licensed RN. From there, she worked at the Naval Hospital, Camp Rising Sun, several international summer camps, and she finished her career working as a nurse with Special Needs children through Ulster BOCES.  

Kathleen loved caring for people, she will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her daughter Kristie Flynn and her husband, Anthony Antonaccio; her grandsons Thomas and Jayden; her sister Margaret and husband Steve Clinton; a brother Charles Flynn; and her niece Ashley Hulst Merrit as well as many other relatives and friends.

Memorial Hours will be held for Kathleen at the Dapson-Chestney Funeral Home, 51 W. Market St., Rhinebeck, NY on Monday November 11 from 11 AM to 1 PM.

Prayers will be offered at the Funeral Home at 1 PM.

Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
