Marjorie A. Simmons

Rhinebeck – Marjorie A. Simmons, 81, passed away suddenly Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at the Northern Dutchess Hospital.  She was surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Tivoli on June 13, 1936 to Hamilton and Edna (Wheeler) Fallon. She was one of eighteen children including Victor and Alan Fallon, Barbara Bachman and June Fallon who survive her.

She was predeceased by her husband Robert C. Simmons, Jr. on December 23, 2006.

Marjorie is survived by her children, Ralph VanWagner of Red Hook, Terry Carl of Bristol, Ct., and Scott (Kim) Simmons of Red Hook, six grandchildren, Richard, Ryan, Corey and Christopher VanWagner, Foster Carl, and Joshua Simmons; and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are Thursday 4 to 7 PM at the Dapson-Chestney Funeral Home, 51 W. Market St. Rhinebeck, NY.  Funeral services are Friday, 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Rhinebeck Cemetery.
