Obituary
Michael Brett Donham, of Rhinebeck, NY, formerly of Weston and Watertown, MA, died peacefully on February 17, 2023, at age 87 from pneumonia.
Born in Boston, Michael spent summers in Chatham, MA, where he became an accomplished sailor, and later served as an officer in the U.S Navy.
He graduated from Haverford College and Harvard Business School and dedicated his career to applying his management skills to the nonprofit sector, including 26 years as Executive Director of Center House in Boston. Following retirement, he served on the Watertown Council on Aging and was director of the Watertown Faire on the Square for nine years.
He leaves his wife Louise of Rhinebeck, NY, daughters Rebecca of Holliston, MA, and Kate of Marlboro, NY, stepdaughter Regan Szczepanowska of Rhinebeck, NY, three grandchildren, and three step grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son Jeremy.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
