Michelle McLain Obituary

Michelle J. McLain, 55, a former resident of Poughkeepsie, passed away suddenly at her sister’s home on November 18, 2020 while on an extended visit from North Carolina.

Born on July 11, 1965 in Poughkeepsie, she was the daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth (Roosa) McLain.

Michelle worked many years as a trained LPN Nurse at several hospitals in the North Carolina area.

Michelle leaves behind her children, Thomas Michael and Marissa June; her mother Elizabeth; sisters MaryAnn Burns and Mellissa “Sissy” Junge as well as her loving niece Elizabeth Burns, cousin Maureen McLain and many more. She will be greatly missed.

She was predeceased by her father Thomas in 2014.

A memorial service will be held at St. Gabriel’s in Greenville, NC on November 25.
