Patricia M. Barpoulis

Patricia M. Barpoulis, age 79, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2019 in Bethesda, Maryland.  She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, John and Sarah Barpoulis of Potomac, MD; her daughter and son-in-law, Katherine Barpoulis and Marvin Kreps of Stanfordville, NY; her grandchildren Georgina (Matthew), Dino (Amanda), Nicholas, Megan, and Stephen; and great-grandchildren Evelyn and Alexander. She is predeceased by her husband, Constantinos J. Barpoulis, who passed away in August 2016.

As a student of the State University of New York at New Paltz, Patricia graduated with her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology.  She believed in continuing advanced education, and over the past several years attended classes at Osher Lifelong Learning at Johns Hopkins University and the Lifelong Learning Institute at Vassar College.

Patricia was devoted to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She loved putting together puzzles, playing games, supporting her grandchildren at their various sporting events and activities, reading books with her great-grandchildren, and traveling. Patricia’s loving presence will be greatly missed by her family.
