Patricia Foster

Staatsburg - Patricia Ann Foster passed away at Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck, New York on August 1, 2025.

She was born on June 15, 1937, in Gloversville, NY, the daughter of Harold and Elanor (Argersinger) Greene.

Patricia is survived by her children, John Foster, Sue Colburn, and Marty Foster; her grandchildren, Shane Colburn, Justin Colburn, Jesalee Colburn, and Sierra Cooper; and nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Michelle Greene.

She was predeceased by her beloved son, Jason Foster.

Patricia lived in Rhinebeck for several years before moving to Kingston in the mid-1970s. She later spent time in Colorado with her daughter before returning to the Hudson Valley and settling in Staatsburg with her son.

She loved her children more than anything and was affectionately known by all of their friends as “Mom.” A creative soul, Patricia was especially talented with coloring and continued to enjoy it until just six months before her passing.

Services will be private.
