Timothy Rabbett

Rhinebeck - Timothy M. Rabbett passed away on May 26th at the age of 79 at the Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY.  Son of Francis and Ethel Rabbett (both deceased), and brother to Patricia Shultz and Eileen Mitchell (both still living), as well as James Rabbett, Nancy Wunderlich, Thomas Rabbett (all deceased). 

He leaves behind his three children, Raymond Dalrymple, Suzette Wesolowski, and Dawn Bruno: as well as his four grandchildren, Alicia Wesolowski, Kaitlyn Wesolowski, Kayla Wesolowski and Connor Dalrymple.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as his uncle, Keith Denegar.

Timmy was a retired Major of the State Police, and will be remembered for his humor, his carefree attitude, and his devotion to those closest to him.

He was truly one of a kind and will be sorely missed.

Memorial Hours will be held at the Dapson-Chestney Funeral Home, 51 W. Market St., Rhinebeck, on Friday June 3, from 5 PM to 7:45 PM.

Services by the American Legion Post #429 and the Red Hook VFW #7765 will be held at the Funeral Home at 7:45 PM.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Saturday June 4 at 10 Am. Burial will follow at the Rhinebeck Cemetery with Military Honors by the American Legion Post #429 and the Red Hook VFW #7765.
