Patricia Ann O'Malley

Patricia Ann O’Malley passed on Thursday, August 24th, to join her beloved daughter, Maggie.

Pat is survived by her devoted husband, Tim Liefer of Rhinebeck NY, and their amazing son, Trevor Liefer (Juliette Maugeri) of Brooklyn NY.  She is also survived by her mother Genevieve O’Malley; two brothers Paul and Joseph all of Schenectady NY; and a sister Kathy (Bill) Stuart of Tampa Fl; as well as a niece, Erin Stuart, and three nephews; Matt Stuart, Justin Liefer and Greg Johnson. She is also survived by two sister in-laws; Sherry (Bob) Johnson and Margie Liefer.

She was predeceased by her father C. Douglas O’Malley, and her daughter Magdalene Emily O’Malley both in 2006. 

Pat was born on August 8, 1957 in Schenectady, NY. She received her BS from SUNY Oneonta, and an MILR from Cornell University.  She then began a career in Human Resources at IBM where she worked for 34 years.

There are no calling hours, but all are invited to an interment service to take place at Wurtemburg Cemetery, 371 Wurtemburg Road in Rhinebeck on Sunday, August 27th, at 2:00 PM. A reception will follow at Tim and Pat’s home on Primrose Hill following the interment. All are welcome.
